Hi Everyone,
Long time lurker here. I’ve been so disappointed with the slowdown in blog post and I miss reading about other parents experience.
I’ve given up hope it will ramp up again so I was wondering g if anyone’s found another website to fill that void. I still check hellobee for the boards but I miss the blog posts! I love how hellobee had multiple bloggers so you got a wide range of moms experiences.

I don’t have any good suggestions, just wanted to say I agree with you! I really miss the blog! I feel like things were actually starting to ramp back up, both on the boards and blog, then Covid hit and everything here really came to a screeching halt. Makes me sad!

Just to piggyback on this, does anyone have any due date boards to recommend? This pregnancy feels so lonely, and I don't think there are any Fall moms to be around/active on the boards any more.

I miss the blog part too! I don't know about the other bloggers on Hellobee, but I've had a draft post out for review for over a week now. I am worried that something has happened to Mrs. Bee and that's why things have completely dried up. I put a message up on the blogger part of the site and there's been no response from her via that outlet either.

@MountainBaby: Yes, was going to say the same thing! I found great Facebook groups with each kid via beyond the bump on Reddit.

@Mrs. Starfish: yes I have been worried about them also. She was pretty active when quarantine started, hope they are all ok.

For those concerned, Bee is extremely active on a pet rescue FB page she founded for Palawan. I think HB is no longer their priority (and hasn’t been for quite some time) and is, for all intents and purposes, an unmanaged page. I don’t say this to rag on them - their life has completely changed. But based on FB posts by Bee (and some by Mr Bee) they are alive and well with adequate internet access to be very involved in the site if they so chose. They’ve made it apparent it’s not a priority, which is their prerogative. I doubt they even make much income off it anymore.

@Reginageorge: Thanks for the info. Good to know, and I'm relieved they are safe. I hope they check in periodically, at a minimum just to release the blog posts that have been written.

@MoonMoon: the big main one is baby bumps. It’s general pregnancy/baby prep. My favorite are the month specific ones which are linked here. Most are private and you message a moderator to join (instructions at the link too) https://www.reddit.com/r/BabyBumps/wiki/index

I think cupofjo is pretty good. It's a different vibe but it's constantly updated and has an active and fun comments section.

It too bad someone else couldn’t take over the website if the Bees aren’t interested in continuing since their life has changed so much.

@Mrs. Starfish: I'm so excited to see one of your posts! I've said it before, but my DD is about 6mo younger than yours, so your posts always give me great insight as to what will happen next!
I'd love to hear how you guys are handling the pandemic, and how its going with your husband working so far away, etc. At this time I just love to see a glimpse into everyone's world, the struggles, fails, and triumphs - even the boring parts!

@poppygirl15: I think they tried that a couple of years ago with Mrs. Peas. I would so love for someone to take the reins, but I remember Mrs. Peas' experience seeming to be extremely overwhelming and stressful so I'm not sure there would be any takers!

@Miss Ariel: in the spring I was teaching from home and my kids had distance learning. This year my school is requiring teachers teach from campus. So I am going back to work while my kids are at home. I start back
Monday so we will see how this new step on the journey goes. I will edit and finish up a post tomorrow.
