My kids are 1/2 Caucasian - me, 1/2 SE Asian - dh. My son looks just like me/my family, but with almond eyes. My daughter could pass for full asian and looks like dh's family. But at the same time, they totally look like twins

I'm mixed, and as far as skin tone goes, my sister and I look more white than black (I'm olive skinned, she is fairer), but my sister's hair is definitely closer to black hair, while mine is finer but still curly.

Does anyone have kids who are 1/4 Asian? I'm dying to figure out what our lo will look like. DH is 1/2 Filipino. I'm just white.

It's true @Mrs. Bee: DH and his 3 brothers looked way more Asian when they were little. (Especially since my MIL gave them all the "Bruce Lee" haircut.) Now you can tell he's "something" other than white. In pics sometimes he looks super Asian. His youngest brother looks the most Asian in my opinion.

One of DH's other brothers, his wife is Korean. So their daughters are 1/2 Korean, 1/4 Filipino and 1/4 white. They both totally take after their mom! (Cuties too! )

DS is 1/2 korean, 1/2 white (polish/german); DH has brown hair and brown eyes. DS looks very much Korean right now, with hints of DH's features. Lighter eyes, brown highlights in his hair, nose, etc.)

My BFF's daughter is also 1/2 korean, 1/2 white, but her DH has blond hair blue eyes. She def looks 50/50 and has lighter hair than DS.

I am chinese and dh is caucasian (brown hair brown eyes) -- when LO was a newborn he looked completely like DH! in fact we compared baby photos at around 3 months and he was a spitting image. crazy pants.

now that he is almost a year old, he looks more asian :), or so people tell me! he has dark dark brown eyes and medium brown hair with a bit of a curl.

LO is 3/8 Thai, 1/8 Chinese, 1/2 Caucasian. I think most people can tell he's got some mixed heritage, but it's not hit-you-over-the-head obvious anymore.

The biggest thing is he totally has my hair, which is brown with red highlights, and it curls like mine did when I was a toddler. He kinda has my face shape, and his eyes are somewhere in between -- big and round and brown but you definitely see the Asian pop out when he smiles. He's definitely got his Dad's nose.

Both DH and I are white so I can't say anything about our LO but a friend of mine is 1/2 white 1/2 Mexican, she looks completely white and her husband is black which makes her kids 1/2 black, 1/4 white, 1/4 Mexican. They don't look like mama one bit. Sometimes people don't even think they are her kids because they are so darn dark! They definitely have mixed hair which helps but still. Its kinda funny watching peoples reactions when they find out her kids weren't adopted

LO is 1/2 Japanese (me) and 1/2 Caucasian (German -DH). She looks all white. She's super pale, has light brown hair, and is an exact copy of DH.

We are both Asian but DH is a little on the dark side and I'm a bit on the fairer side. It was kind of fun to see what people thought because to us DS was just cute but we couldn't figure out who he looked like the most.

One of DH's very blunt friends said is this your kid... he doesn't look like either one of you?! *this was after he saw our xmas card because he lives so far away he doesn't see DS*

I always say that DS doesn't play favoriates and decided to take a blend of us and even his skin tone is a medium between ours. BUT they say with time things change so we will see how he grows up.

My son is half white and half Chinese. He takes more after his dad (the Asian side). When he was a newborn, he looked like my husbands mini me but now at 6 months he's looking a little less Asian and starting to show some of my features. It will be neat to see how he changes over time.

I'm white, and my husband is Chinese. Our kid doesn't necessarily look like either of us! Right now, at 6 weeks, he has light brown hair and gray eyes. (I'm dark blonde/blue, and my husband is black/dark brown.)

He did look more Asian when he was born, though.

@anbanan15: we wondered this too when I was pregnant!

I also forgot to include that my son is very pale skinned and my daughter is more caramel colored. It's definitely noticeable in pics of them together!

My nephew is half Korean (my sister's son) and half white. He looks like a white version of my sister!

My LO is full Asian but 1/2 Korean and 1/2 Chinese (I'm Korean, DH is Chinese) but people say LO looks more Korean than Chinese. It makes me feel good because my MIL always says things like, "Oh, LO is so pretty and smart...Because of her father." UGH!

My dh's daughters are 1/2 Caucasian, 1/4 Japanese, and 1/4 Korean. They look very Asian, their Mother only associates with her Japanese heritage so they'll tell you they're Japanese. His oldest has dh's features (cheek bones, and hair), the youngest is a spitting image of her Mother.

@TheSwissWifeStyle: I have friends who have 1/4 Asian children. I dont think you can tell that 2 of them are Asian at all. I think the other child looks vaguely Asian due to his coloring.

My LO is half Chinese, half white. At birth she looked full Chinese but now she is looking very mixed. She has Asian features but I think you can tell she isn't full Asian.
