We're going on a mini vacation in a month and I'm in desperate need of a swim suit (something I haven't worn in YEARS). So mamas, I need some help. I have a mommy tummy and I'm still losing the baby weight so I'm definitely not comfortable in anything skimpy. Any tips or examples of some cute but realistic suits?

I have a tankini top from athleta and matching shorts. I think it's cute, it looks kind of athletic, and it stays in place while playing with kids.

I have some one shoulder one piece suits from JCrew that I am obsessed with, but they're not offered this year, so I have been searching for other options and came across the Jena style in Miraclesuit. I am just waiting until I see a sale to get one.
Other than that, I really like the short sleeve rash guard with bikini bottom look. I tend to like coverage on either the top or bottom with a complementing less coverage option on the reverse...bikini top with skirt, short sleeved rash guard with bikini bottoms, for example.
Athleta has a ton of options and they're all sold individually so you can get the sizes you need.

I like Albion fit. I've also been eyeing a high neck bikini but I haven't actually tried one on so I have no idea if they are flattering for my body type. We have a engagement/pool party next weekend and I'm hoping to try a few before then

I am going to get something like this for next summer when I'm not pregnant anymore. It's from a "modest clothing" website, which is great because I don't really want anyone to look at my tummy/ upper thighs after having 2 kids lol.

Mrs. Pickles recommended Athleta and that's where I got my tankini this year. Very cute and not skimpy for a mom.

@Ash: I just got this top and shorts set from Athleta and love them. I got the long in the tankini top, because I'm not a fan of having even a sliver of my stomach showing. They also have longer shorts that cover a bit more that are cute (last link).

I think Trina Turk has some really amazing one piece bathing suits that are still awesome looking but provide nice coverage.
