When were you able to tell which baby was moving? Did they switch in activity levels? Baby A has been crazy active the last few days & the last time I knew for sure that I felt Baby B move was Saturday. Usally about the time I get nervous I start to feel the other baby move. Did any of you have this experience?

Mine took turns moving, and it always made me nervous. Like you said, about the time I would start getting worried, they would switch. By the end, they didn't really move that much at all because there just wasn't room to do a lot of moving! I could usually only tell who was moving because I knew who was lower and who was higher.

I couldn't tell them apart for a while- sometimes I thought it was one baby moving, but then in the ultrasound the next day they were in a position that it couldn't have been them. Mine were always at pretty consistent activity levels once I could tell them apart (7-ish months, I think?), but Baby B was much more chill at all times simply because of her position. She was wedged up in my ribs in the pike position, so she didn't have much moving ability.

Okay so I'm thinking the higher the baby the less you may feel them? I was wondering if that was the case with baby B. Baby A is a lot lower & she likes to punch... a lot.

I think by 20 weeks, I could normally distinguish. For the most part, I could feel one baby moving more than the other. I think it had to do with positions, Baby A was nestled down lower, so it would be harder for me to feel. Also, his feet would often be tangled with Baby B's limbs so it could very well be that Baby A was moving around, but I thought it was Baby B!
Whenever I would get NSTs done, they always had a harder time getting Baby B to stay on the monitor. It would often take up to 45 minutes of both the nurse and the doctor moving it around and then they would just give up and send me for an UT/BPP.

@Sugar.Biscuit: That wasn't the case for me. I felt Baby B more, especially since his legs would often be kicking my rib cage, along with his big noggin being wedged near the opposite side near my rib cage. Sounds fun, right??

Until about 25-26 weeks I couldn't tell! But once they're big enough, they stop doing musical chairs and you'll know who's who. I learned who was quieter (baby B) and who was constantly playing goalee (baby A), and that helped me stop worrying. Hope you're doing well! Home stretch!
