I definitely do! Before I became a mom, I just popped a couple Advil and didn't think twice about symptoms. I've had lower back pain and major stomach aches on and off for a few days, and today I made the mistake of googling my symptoms. BAD idea!

Unfortunately, I probably worry way less about it because I don't have time to really think about myself since having kids!

Me! I want to get in shape and eat healthy to keep up with lo and last as long as possible for her!

@matador84: I was like that for the first year of lo's life, for sure!
@Greentea: Yes! I just started eating healthy again but am still figuring out the working out part. Baby steps...

I worry a lot less about my health after LO than before. I do try to get to the doc sooner, so I'm not sick while taking care of him. I'm doing WW for my own desires not for my family.

I feel a bit more convicted to get healthy and take care of myself. Which has less to do with LO (who is still cooking so maybe that will change when she arrives) and more to do with the fact that feeling sorta-crappy a lot of the time while pregnant sucks. And it has made me think about how bad it would suck to come down with some chronic illness/mobility issues later in life and be stuck with it forever rather than just 9 months.

I'm less of a hypochondriac, but I take better care of myself. I quit smoking because of her.

Kind of. I don't go tanning anymore since I worry that I'll get skin cancer and then they won't have a mom. But I try to exercise more regularly and I am constantly using purell to prevent colds but on the other hand, I sometimes go all day without drinking water or eating from being busy.

I've taken care of myself for a long time, regular doctor and dentist appointments, accupuncture, etc.

I don't worry more, necessarily, because I've always taken good care of myself. But i feel like it keeps me more motivated and/or just gives me a very, very good reason to keep doing it!

I think I worry less because I just have less time to think about things like that!
