did your LOs hit milestones at different times? How far apart was the gap?
Lo2 is just over 6 months & can only sit up with assistance. By 6 months LO1 was already crawling.

My younger lo is just 9 months but so far they are hitting milestones at totally different times. For example, lo1 hit physical milestones earlier (except sitting) and lo2 is hitting the more social milestones like waving and clapping a lot earlier. Seems to fit their personalities so far. Lo1 has always been independent and lo2 is clingier, loves to be held more. All babies are different so I try not to compare too much.

Absolutely. I met my husband when his two boys were 1 & 4. So, my experience is a little different. However, both of them were and are reaching milestones at different times even now. Earlier though, the most memorable one for me is that The 4 year old was a complete chatter box and the 1 year old didn't start talking (at all!) until he was 4.
L, my son, is 1.5 and has a handful of words already. My husband is certainly noticing differences in all of our boys as well. I think it's totally common and natural.

Dd2 is definitely hitter milestones later! She's more of a observer.
DD 1 was sitting unassisted and pulling up by 6m. DD2 is 6m in a few days and still isn't great at sitting up.

I have three and they all hit milestones very differently.
DD walked at about 15 months (maybe 16)
DS#1 was walking by 13 months and talking! He had such an early language explosion
DS#2 is about to be 14 months old, still crawling and has very few words.

My first walked at 13 months but spoke words at 7 months, my second walked at 10 months but didn't have her first word until 11 months.
My third has a social smile, but that's it
We'll cut him some slack at 12 days old!

L03 started crawling at 6 months and didn't sit up until 9 months. L01&2 sat around 5-6 months and started crawling around 6-7 months. L01 walked around 12-13 months and L02 walked at 11 months. All different but not so significant to cause a concern.

My DD1 was crawling before she even hit 6 months and was walking at 11 months. She was about average for her speech, in my opinion, but has always been really coordinated and good at jumping/climbing etc.
DD2 was a late walker (13.5 months) and crawled at 8 months, but she is an insanely early talker. She's now 15 months and I couldn't possibly count how many words she has
She is also much more sensitive, fussy, and needy than my first.

My first walked at 14.5 months but didn't have a lot of words until she was 20 months.
My second walked at 19 months but had a lot of words at 15-16 months.

My younger son is hitting all his milestones much slower than big brother. Just totally different kids!

Mine were quite different for the earlier milestones (until about 6-8 months). LO2 was born 3 weeks before her EDD, so I think that had something to do with it since she was a bit slower. By about 9 months she had "caught up" to most of LO1's milestones (which were always on time or early). She even beat him walking by 3 days. Verbally, she is more advanced than DS was at the same age.

LO2 is hitting every milestone far quicker than LO1 did! LO1 has a more tentative personality and likes to wait to do things until she is confident she can do it, whereas LO2 just steams on ahead and does things.
LO1 crawled at 10 months, walked at 13 months, and didn't really start using proper words until after she turned 2.
LO2 crawled at 5 months, walked at 10 months, and now at 12 months, has about 10 words she uses consistently.
