Definitely yes. Especially in jewel tones instead of pastels.

DS wouldn't be a big fan, and he would be "done" in about 1.5 minutes. Not sure how much is gender and how much is that he just isn't interested in crafts, though.

We went to a party once where they had plastic top hats as well to decorate. That way if a boy doesn't want a tiara you have options. My LO decorated one of each.

We just did this a month ago at my daughter's third birthday party, and even the older boys (7ish) had fun with it. I did buy a few blue "king" crowns from Jo-Ann's to round out the pink and purple tiaras, but it was definitely a crowd pleaser.

@pinkcupcake: It's what the birthday boy/girl gets to do at daycare and the boys enjoy it just as much as the girls do!

I showed your link to my 2 boys (3 and 5) and they were definitely excited about it! I asked them what colors they would want and they chose pink and purple.
