When I go back to work, I have no idea when I'll work out. My husband works out in the morning do, that's out. When I get home from work I know there won't be time. Ugh. I look forward to hearing from moms who do find the time!

I have been back to work for four omonths and have not yet figured this one out so i am also cvurious. I do take some long walks with LO on the weekends but they arent that strenuous.

I tried working out in the mornings, but I had a really hard time working out and then getting ready for the day before LO woke up. I think I'm going to start doing it in the evenings while DH gives her a bottle. I've been doing the 30 Day Shred. I like it. It's short.

I'm doing a bootcamp at 5:30am Mon-Thur. I was afraid that it would be too hard to do, but I'm on the 2nd week and it's working out great. I get up at 4:15, pump, make the bottles for the day, eat, change and head out. If LO wakes up, DH will give her a bottle.
We had to work it out so that I'm in bed by 8pm so that I can get up by 4:15am.

We joined a pool this summer so LO and I will meet DH at the pool after he gets off work. One of us will swim laps while the other plays with LO then we switch

@BabyBoecksMom: Wow! I give you props for waking up that early! I'm not a morning person, and I am very envious of everyone that is!

@Maysprout: That's a great idea!
I workout while DD is sleeping or when DH is home from work in the evenings. I have no idea how I'll do it with 2 under 2!

@BabyBoecksMom: I only hope to have your motivation and stamina!
I am def thinking of scheduling in AM sessions, since I'll most likely be up anyway... and with the way my sleeping patterns have already changed during pregnancy, I highly doubt I'll even be able to sleep the extra time come baby anyway!

We have a small fitness center at my office, so I'm thinking lunchtime elliptical session will be the way to go.

I haven't figured this out either. I breastfeed and it seems like the only times to workout are right before a feed (read: my breasts are huge and heavy). I am going to start doing some lap swimming today I think. When my semester starts I will have 1 hour 3 days a week I can go while baby is at daycare.

I either ride my road bike on an indoor trainer during LO's morning nap or go for a run when DH gets home from work. I would run with LO in the BOB in the morning, but it's way too hot and humid right now.
@BabyBoecksMom: You're awesome! That takes serious dedication.

@MrsBrewer: @mrsjyw: I'm not a morning person either, but I found that working out in the morning is the best way for me to get my workout in. There's almost always a reason why I could skip workout out at lunch or after work, like I need to run errands or I'm just too exhausted to get a worthwhile workout in. Working out in the morning gives a great endorphin and energy boost that last all day (my coworkers thank me - haha!)
AND I get to work earlier now, and get to leave earlier, so I get to spend more time with LO before she goes down for the night. That alone is a great motivation for me

@BabyBoecksMom: good for you! I'm in bed by 8pm a lot of the time and I don't even get up in the morning to work out!
ETA: i have barely worked out since LO was born (maybe 7-8 times?) since my gym has no childcare and we don't have babysitters available. I either go when DH can watch LO or if grandma is visiting...or if a friend at the gym can watch LO. Soon I hope to go regularly after DH gets home from work.

I'm out for the summer, so I do the 30 day shred in the mornings when we wake up. I don't know what the hell I'm going to do when I go back to work. I get home at 4pm and wake up at 5:30. There's no time, but I'll have to make it work. IfI didn't work with 22 four year olds all day, I'd probably have energy left where I wouldn't just want to lay in the floor before we play with her.

I haven't worked out in a while, but I used to work out after puttng my LO down for the night.

I workout Saturday mornings and maybe 1 other day during the week. Usually in the afternoon after the kids wake from their last nap. Our gym has child care so we just drop them off to play. I used to just do cardio for half hour. Now I'm adding in weights after cardio.
