Sleepy monday so far for me. DS woke up when I got home from work, and was up from around 1245-145 MOTN! And then... he woke up earlier than usual, around 630 or earlier. Yawn.

DS actually slept in this morning which he never does... I had to wake him up at 7:10 to get ready for daycare. I wish he would've done that yesterday, I sooo wanted to stay in bed and cuddle!
@junebugsmama: Hate those MOTN wake-ups where they just don't want to go back to sleep! That was my Monday last week!

Hey! I'm also really, really sleepy today. I forgot how tiring it is having a newborn. DH and I (plus baby) went up to bed at 10.30pm. I fed her before going to sleep, which took until 11.30pm (she's a sleepy, reluctant nurser) and then she would not settle in her Moses basket. DH was asleep during most of this, but woke up at midnight and offered to take her. He promptly fell asleep with her on his chest! So I stayed awake watching to make sure she didn't overheat or fall off. At some point, I dozed off too (agh!) but E woke us just before 2am. After I had seen to E, I took S and fed her again. This took until 3.25am. I finally got her to sleep in her Moses basket some time after half three. She woke again at 5 to feed. I settled back down again just after 6am but then E was up at 7 and insisting on mummy taking her for breakfast (daddy tried his best to negotiate me a lie in!). Yawn.

DD1 fell of her chair and hit the laminate floor HARD last night during dessert. We kept her up for a bit just to be safe. Everyone was a little grumpy this morning! LOL
Came into work this morning and my computer had been frozen all weekend.
Happy Monday!

@regberadaisy: My 3 year old rolled out of bed and hit her face on her bedside table some time around midnight last night. Not a good day for head injuries I guess. (My 4 month old also woke up to eat three times last night but that's a whole different story).

@Truth Bombs: owie! Poor girl!!! Is she OK this morning?

@regberadaisy: Yup! Just a little bruise under her eye which doesn't seem to be bothering her. I think she mostly just scared herself!

I finally learned why teething is so terrible. DD was up almost every hour last night and then pretty inconsolable from 3-4:30. I gave her some ibuprofen and she slept until 8. This morning I saw part of her tooth poking through the gums and it looks like her second tooth isn't far behind. Yawn.
