Wednesday - Get out of work early, Errands galore
Thursday - Thinking about going to IHOP for breakfast, then DH will cook the turkey to bring to my parents house
Friday/Sat/Sun - Decorate for Christmas, do Christmas-y activities

Heh, I was just going over this with DS1 this morning to get him pumped up for the week. It should be fun!
Mon - Work + dentist appointment for me and DS1
Tues - Work + prep for thanksgiving. Boys spend the night with my parents
Wed - Work in the AM, then pick up kids at lunch to head to my brother's house
Thurs - Thanksgiving at brother's house
Fri - Head back home. Hockey game with DH's family
Sat - Thanksgiving with DH's family
Sun - Christmas season starts - we'll buy a tree and start decorating! -
I wish it was already weds afternoon...
Mon-work as normal
Tues-yearly check up for me, afternoon off shop/hang out with mom as she is in town visiting
Weds-work for me and DH, DD off school will hang with gram, DS at daycare. Hoping to get early release from work.
Thurs-thanksgiving at our house, relax, watch movies
Fri-begin Christmas decorating/tree/outside lights
Sat-festival of the trees/santa visit
Sun-maybe see frozen2 -
This week is weird because we are in the middle of a major home renovation (that, of course, isn’t as far along as it’s supposed to be
) so we are staying with my parents!
Today: finishing up laundry (haven’t had a washer/dryer for 3 weeks 🙃)
Tuesday: Pedicure
Wednesday: nothing special
Thursday: Thanksgiving...letting my mom do most of the cooking because...

Busy week!
Today: work, renting a carpet cleaner tonight so work some more at home!
Tuesday: DS's 5th bday, so bringing him to work with me till noon, then lunch at Chick-fil-A (his fav) then Frozen 2 with my mom and him, then D-SD's basketball game at 6
Wednesday: Work till 3, Dentist appt's for both LO's at 4:15, then clean some more!
Thursday: Hosting T-day/DS's bday with family, 17 guests
Shopping? I just want to go to Walmart this year.
Friday: DH's sister/BIL will be at our house
Saturday: Santa in the morning, hopefully Christmas parade and fireworks at night -

Work every day...
Monday: work at home; Bible study in the evening
Tuesday: work in the office but leave early to pick up and drop off for choir practice
Wednesday: work at home; kid 1 dentist appointment
Thursday: work at home; ladies prayer meeting in the evening
Friday: work at home; kid 1 haircut after schoolSometime this week: advent book wrapping, christmas decorating
Saturday: Kid 1's birthday party AM, her friend's birthday party PM (an hour away, 1.5 hours after morning party ends), the friend's mom's birthday party cooking class with the girls at 5pm downtown. It's a logistical nightmare.
Sunday: church Christmas program practice and choir concert downtown (so only Kid 2 will be at the practice, and I'll take Kid 1 to the choir concert).
It's a busy week!!

I am so happy that my DH and I both have this whole week off. This school year has been something else.
Monday-- meet my sister and her family at a kiddie amusement park and zoo. Chick fil a first of course
Tuesday-- probably recover from today haha. I sort of want to bake something elaborate
Wednesday-- Take DS to my mom's so he can spend the night and prep for Thanksgiving
Thursday-- Thanksgiving. This year, since my sister wont be coming down, both my husband's family and mine are celebrating together. Should be fun!
Friday-- more recovery, look for good deals on black Friday stuff (online!)
Sat-- start decorating for Christmas and dinner with friends
Sun-- church and prep for the week -
@crazydoglady: I got a Target one with the little drawers! I don't know if I love it, but I also wanted something a little more than just counting down. I'm still experimenting with things to put in the drawers too.

@crazydoglady: We're just doing books (mix of religious and secular christmas books - ones that are from our collection), and I usually also add a christmas activity to some of the days with the book -- it's too much to do something every day, but on days I know we have bandwidth, I try to sneak something in. We also do a very short reading for the Christmas story every day.

Work Monday and Tuesday, kiddo is in school
Wednesday - Driving to NJ (from VA/DC) (ugh...) - kid just recently started getting car sick and on average this is a 5-7 hour trip so yeah, dreading that big time
Thursday - Thanksgiving at my parents with just my fam (in-laws don't do Thanksgiving so hubby is hanging out with them)
Friday - taking kid to my in-laws for the day, and hanging out on my own all day (my mom usually has off so we usually shop but she has to work this year), and then big family dinner (my fam, in-laws, BIL/fiancee, my brother/fiancee) Friday night
Saturday - a bubble/circus show in NYC (Russian performance troop), one of my closest friends and her daughter are coming too
Sunday - driving back to VA (ugh...)I'm dying to start decorating for Christmas since this is our first year in our new house and I love the holidays, but I honestly have no idea when we'll have time to do it between work and packed weekends, so I'm dreading travel even more this year than usual but it's the one holiday we travel for so I'll buck up

Friday: I get sick. Turns out it's lettuce food poisoning. Ugggh thank you e coli.
Saturday: End up in the pedi ER. DS has croup but won't swallow. Released after a few hours. My first time at the ER with him and I was a ball of nerves.
Sunday: Plan for DH to stay home with DS tomorrow, buuuut that night, DH gets hit with food poisoning. Throws up all night. Aghhhhh.Monday - Work. DS is at daycare, because without family in town and no available childcare at the last minute at 7 a.m. on a Monday the week of Tgiving, there was no choice. I'm *that* mom who brought her coughy kid to school, but honestly, this is where he got croup to begin with and at home I'd be worried DH could accidentally pass him e coli.
Tuesday - Work. Clean the house. Maybe get a Christmas tree up if I can find the time somehow...
Wednesday - Work and prep food. Family arrives for dinner.
Thursday - Cook! Host! Please no one be sick/get sick/no sickness!
Friday/Sat/Sun - Take my MIL and SIL black Friday shopping. Try to keep my hostess energy up an maintain a somewhat balanced pumping schedule while also hosting. Watch more football than I care to see. Try to get DS to nap with all these people around. Wait until everyone leaves on Sunday and then BREATHE.

Monday - errands, finish laundry from vacation last week, start catching up on a backlog of work from vacation last week
Tuesday - Gymboree for the two year old, OT/ST for the four year old, more work, Thanksgiving service at church in the evening
Wednesday - checkup for my younger daughter, cooking for hosting my in-laws for an early Thanksgiving that evening
Thursday - Head to my parents for Thanksgiving with my extended family, lots of cooking and eating. And I need to pay attention to anything my brother and sister in law say to give me an idea of what to get them for Christmas...I'm the worst at gift giving for the "grown ups" in the family and I'm all out of ideas for them!!
Friday - Breakfast with some friends near my parents, drive back home sometime in the afternoon
Saturday - Christmas decorating inside, meal prep for the week
Sunday - church, laundry put up outside Christmas lights -
So far this week is starting off pretty great. One of my favorite students just successfully defended his PhD! He is amazing and so sweet. I usually get one or two students a year that just grab hold of my heart and watching them progress and finish is just the BEST feeling.
I'm working today and tomorrow, then I have the rest of the week off. My mom and I are going to make butter rolls tomorrow night and then Wednesday we will be working on various sides. I'm taking my little family north for the actual holiday to spend it with my in-laws, then back home on Friday to have another Thanksgiving with my family.
This is seriously my favorite week of the entire year. I love the food, I love seeing my sisters, and I love that the anticipation of Christmas is huge.

Unexpectedly this week has become super busy:
Monday- work, multiple school pickups, clean out fridge
Tuesday- work, grocery shopping for everything thanksgiving (will probably involve multiple stores)
Wednesday- cook sides, dessert with kids home 🤦♀️, music lessons, laundry, start cleaning house
Thursday- turkey plus whatever else I didn’t finish cooking, clean house, set up for guests
Friday- nothin’! Hopefully kids will entertain themselves so I can browse sales online. -

@Baby Boy Mom: It always ends up that way with holiday weeks! Starts with blank state and suddenly it just totally fills up!

Tomorrow DS has preschool and I need to start packing.
Wednesday DH works from home so I’ll take the kids out for a couple if hours and then park them in front of the tv so I can finish packing then we’ll drive 4ish hours to my brother’s house.
Thursday is dinner at my aunt and uncle’s with my fam.
Friday I’ll shop early with my mom and brother, hopefully take DS and my niece to see frozen 2 in the afternoon, and grab a drink with my bro and SIL at night while my parents watch the kids.
Saturday we head home but are leaving DS1 and he’ll come back in a couple of dats with my parents.
Sunday get a tree and decorate! Sunday evening I’m going to see Les Mis with my MIL.

Monday: clean out kids toys! I organized DS1’s Legos and put them in tubs with lids so we can keep DS2 away from them
and since DS1 was at school I threw away some toys and made a big box to donate. Feels good!Tuesday: work, bake desserts, dinner with my parents and siblings
Wednesday: drive to ILs, kids play with cousins, hopefully i get some quiet to catch up on grading (I teach online classes)
Thursday: thanksgiving lunch w in-laws, drive home
Friday-Sunday: we hope to put up the tree, watch some Christmas movies, spend some time as a family
