Yesterday I was glad to get back to work because the break sucked, but today I'm sick and I'd give anything for another day off!!!

These next few weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas are just awful for me. I have zero motivation! I'm just counting down the days til I get to fly to see my family!
But, yes, the Monday after Thanksgiving is always painful X-(

Today was tough but not as tough as other Mondays I have had. M was a pistol this long weekend and I think she needs her routine to get back some of her happiness!
I am just about to get started on work stuff now, though...I've been talking to coworkers for the past hour and a half.

This morning was brutal (in terms of wakeup time and mama sadness), but LO did pretty well. The only reason I am glad to be back at work today is that I am almost done weaning, and having 4 days together was hard for LO (and for me . . .).

@Smurfette: @littlek: BabyGloss did well at drop off . . . no tears, just big sad eyes as she reached for her teacher. It is still hard for me, but I know she has fun there and that it is the best place for her.
@blackbird: *augh* I'm sorry you are still sick! That's such a crappy way to start the week. Feel better!!!

man, my kid was freaking PSYCHED to get dropped off, haha. I think she missed T and her little friends over the holiday. As soon as I set her down, T got a giant grin and she started wiggling her arms to get picked up

Wah.My work friend is back to work for the first day after maternity leave though, so I know her day is worse.

I miss j and this week SUCKS at work. My mom just texted a picture of jake asleep in her lap and I'm a mess. I want that.

I had a tough morning with LO this morning. He didn't want to get dressed or his jacket on. The straps were tights on his car seat, so I woke up DH to help. All of this was around 7:30am. So, I was running super late as well. I swore a few times. LO gave me a look when I did. Ugh, bad mom there. I got home, didn't wash sippys, and got out of the house as soon as I could.
I have a ton of work to do too. I did some Cyber Monday shopping as well. That and the Pitch Perfect soundtrack made me less stressed.
