My LO had one — and both DH and I are caucasian for a long way back...must be some native american or something in us somewhere?

Yup, on her bum and thigh! LO is 1/2 Chinese.

E has a giant strawberry one on her butt. It's going away though.

Yup, both born with them. My daughter has one medium sized one and my son has them all over. Shoulders, back, butt, ankles. Most are still pretty visible and he's 4. We always have to explain that they are not bruises.

My LO has two on her butt, one on her back, and one on her calf. She's 1/2 korean, 1/2 chinese.

my brother and i both had them (chinese) and both my LO's have them (half chinese half caucasian) -- LO#1 has them allllll up his back and on his upper bum. LO#2's are a more normal amt

they make me so happy when i see them! i feel like it 'proves' they are my boys hahhaha, cause otherwise, LO#1 looks a lot like dh

My LO was born with them. My sister thought she was moldy the first time she changed her diaper.

My sister (1/4 asian, like myself) had them as a child. She also has areas of light pigmentation, they almost look like vitiligo, all along her leg. My son has a small area of light pigmentation on his back; I always wondered if they were connected.

DS has a little bit on his bum, but don't recall if he was born with it or not. I want to say no.... Will have to go back and look at his newborn pics to verify! haha
