I really want to take month photos of LO when she gets here and was looking through Pinterest for cute examples this morning.
Have any of you bees done anything unique with monthly shots?

Nothing unique, but we take his photos in a white onesie in the same spot in the same chair, so we can see how he changes. Oh, and I bought those month stickers to put on his onesie each month.

i bought some month stickers too and plan on doing a monthly shoot! I got them for cheap off Etsy!

We don't do anything special, we just use the monthly onesie stickers and put her next to the sock monkey for size comparison.

we did the month stickers. Liv is 16 months old now, but this was from her 4 month shoot and 10 month shoot
ETA - sorry guys I deleted the pics. I get weird with having pics of Liv online. I HATE that they can be pinned from anywhere these days. Makes me uneasy

I did the stickers with the months. I tried to have her doing whatever her milestone was for the month. At six months she was crawling so I put the sticker on her side and took pictures while she'd crawled around. At 8 months she was standing so I put her next to hair to show that. She was running around by ten months so I just tried my best to chase after her an take her picture.

I bought stickers and have been using the same onesie, but I'm not sure if it'll fit anymore. I was super excited to do these monthly shots pre-baby, but now it's kind of a pain (there I said it). Depending on her mood and the sun and if she's awake, it's kind of tricky. Even if I spend 10 mins prepping and 5 mins taking pics, I'm always sweating after!

I love the baby pics! The milestone cards & stickers are great ideas:) to save some $$ you could use a photo editor to just insert a text box that says "X months"

I bought the month stickers (1, 2, 3, etc) and then I'm also planning to buy month picture frames (labeled Jan, Feb, Mar, etc) so I'm going to theme each photo based on what's going on that month. St Patty's day in March, 4th of July in July, etc.

I do weekly with a printed sign so I can see now much she changes, and monthly with stickers. My friend gifted me a set of onesies an a tutu, and my mom gifted me a different set of stickers - and I decided each month to take a shot in the same 12-month onesie! I'm busy.. LOL.

Oh my goodness!!! The cutest is overflowing on this thread!!! I think you MUST take regular pics of the LOs, especially when they change SO much even week-to-week at this young age!
I plan on taking pics of LO every day just cuz she'll probably have a cute new outfit for everyday! hahaha! Love the monthly stickers and/or milestone cards & next to the same toy for size comparison!

I've been doing same chair, same stuffed animal, different outfit. I still need to edit them and add the months to them and also put them in the frame I have! I think the only one I have on my phone to post is 2 months and 6 months!
