This happened to me once. I ordered a pair of expensive snow boots and was sent two pairs. I was only charged for one. I hemmed and hawed about what to do and finally decided to return the extra pair. I called the company, explained what happpened, and they sent the return label. A few days after I sent them, I got an email saying I had been refunded...so I got the boots for free. At that point I just dropped it. I had done what I could to make the situation right, and benefitted from their error.

I would call. But like the above posters, if they make it too hard for you, then just keep/donate them. Something like that happened with a medical insurance payout. We got paid twice (like $800) and we tried to give it back, but there was just such a mess on their end that they couldn‘t figure out how to fix it. So we gave up and kept it.

I feel like most of the time when I call they say "oh don't worry about it."

I did get a bunch of extra sleep sacks from Zipadeezip and I felt too bad since they are a small company so I mailed them back with a note. I could have sold them for $40 each but that didn't feel right.

I had another issue with Anthropologie - I ordered 3 dresses and 1 was the wrong size, so they sent another and then refunded me for the other three I paid for even though I kept one. I returned 3 so they just assumed it was the original 3. I tried to explain it to them but they just weren't getting it so I gave up!
