We're currently being forecast to get 8-10" Sunday into Monday, but we're a track hiccup south of 12-18". This is the snowiest winter I've ever seen (although admittedly, I lived in the Deep South until I was 20).
I love the snow, but I am SO ready for spring!

Yep - we are too! We have about 8 inches of packed snow in our yard that will not melt either!!! We have had snow on the ground for pretty much all of 2014 so far!!

One station said 10-12+ and the today show had us in the 18-24" category.
I love how he's shrugging like, "sorry, girl... It's gon' snow."

Yup. This winter has broken records for the Philadelphia area - 6 storms (so far) that have produced over 6". We're sitting right on the line of the storm. Depending on how it tracks, we could see all rain, mix of rain, snow, and ice, or all snow and ice. Yay.

Yes, so annoying! I was just happier that we finally see some grass/ground and a lot of the ice mountains have melted. We already had 1 leak w/ all the ice build up in our gutters... I do not want a repeat

MA apparently just says "light snow" for now but the forecaster said that if it shifts at all it could be bad. I don't even want to know at this point...

Yes, we're supposed to get more snow. We're trying to make the best of it by going skiing tonight. We haven't gone at all this year because of the cold!

Yup! My local guy wasn't even discussing amount totals this morning but said it would be "medium impact" not a blockbuster storm. I've seen either 4-8 or 6-12 inch here in CT.
I love the snow though, so bring it on!

We are calling for 8" this weekend. We got a foot last week. High is supposed to be negative 9 degrees Fahrenheit tomorrow!
They closed the interstate last night for white out conditions. They were worried people would abandon their cars and walk (why you would do that in a white out is beyond me.) and an emergency vehicle would hit them.

We are missing this current storm up here. BUT, we were supposed to have "less than an inch" on Monday, and that was a complete sham. 3+ inches and several white-outs later, it stopped. I'm also continually amazed that a raw temperature in the negatives doesn't warrant a school delay around here...it was -10 without the windchill when we woke up!
I agree, I love winter, but this is when I start to tire of the cold!

@Mrs. J: and snowy, I think! Conventional wisdom around here is that the earlier the lakes freeze, the more snow we get. And they froze early this year!

I really love snow. But being a SAHM starting in December this has been a really tough transition. They are long days at home!

I feel like I am definitely in the minority here, but I don't mind the snow. It probably helps that the snow has led to a number of snow days and I love a chance to spend an extra day at home with baby girl!

@Mrs. J: fair! I was just a little surprised that they don't do 2 hour delays here. Where we have lived before, if there was a windchill below a certain temperature, there was an automatic delay, because they didn't want kids standing at the bus stops in that weather

@lovehoneybee: DD is only 4 months, so there isn't too much playing in the grass yet. By the time spring (and summer!) get here, she will be about ready to play in the yard. I am definitely looking forward to the warm weather, but as long as it's cold, bring on the snow! Ha

Yea. One newscaster is saying 6-10 inches, but another is saying 10-14. Regardless, I'm so over it.

@lovehoneybee: You are probably correct, if that is the case they really should have put some sort of description in the blue band. That was my first thought as well but since the amounts decreased it didn't fit.
