Mr. Bee's post on what your LO says/ does when they wake up made me wonder how many of you parents have a morning wake-up ritual with your child(ren)? I imagine many have bed-time rituals (special songs, stories, etc.), but do you sing any special songs, tell any special stories, etc. to start the day? Or is it just full-steam ahead? Just curious!

we have a morning ritual. I get mavi out of the crib, change his diaper and then he hops in bed with us, and we play hide and seek under the covers for about 10 minutes. then i give him his bottles, he drinks, plays (while i get ready) and then i give him his breakfast.
Even if I didn't put him in our bed, he always runs to our room. I think we might have an issue with that when he's a little older though.
