This isn't necessarily awkward, but I've pumped in the car as we were driving to dinner

The bathroom of a small women's non-profit...while 35 women and girls were outside and only had access to one other bathroom while I was pumping. Fun!

@septemberlove: I used an Ameda with a car charger on the road.

amtrak acela bathroom, standing up against the wall. i laid one of those sterile gauze cloth things that you get at the hospital down and put all my pump stuff on there and was very careful to not touch anything! it was clean for a train bathroom, but i still felt icky about it. and i felt a little bit motion sick.

In the car, while driving. And also while riding shotgun through Philly. Awkward when a homeless lady tried to get change from us.

I pumped in the car all the time, but it wasn't terribly awkward.

Most awkward probably we at a friend from church's house - I had to pump in their guest bedroom and it just felt... weird.

i pumped in the bathroom floor of a nail salon while waiting for my friends to finish their pedicures.

in the bathroom stall of a museum, while standing in 3" heels (bc the toilet didn't have a lid seat. (My cousin had her reception there when LO was about 3 months old)

I was at a conference for work, and had arranged that I could use the medical room at the conference center to pump. But right before I was about to leave for the airport I went in there and there were a ton of people because a staff member was having irregular heartbeat. So I was pumping in the corner behind a small screen while like six people were in and out of the room because I had to pump before going to the airport! And then I got to the airport and my flight was delayed three hours so I had to pump in the family restroom. Most awkward pumping day ever.

In the backseat of the car while dh and fil were in the front. I had a cover on and they had no idea! Oh, and also my classroom while another teacher was in there talking to me. She did know, but she couldn't see me and she's a mom of four so neither of us cared.

Went to a wedding and didn't have a place to pump, so went to the car. Well, I forgot the batteries, so my hubby hand squeezed a few ounces. Yup. Never thought my hubby would ever agree but I guess u gotta do what u gotta do!

I pumped in my car. In front of a bar entrance. With people standing right outside smoking. And a street lamp was right above me, so I was clearly visible.
