What are your plans?
DH is still in the hospital, but doing very good. I'm hoping he gets to come home tomorrow, nothing would make my mother's day better than that 
But if he doesn't come home there's a plan b. My mom is having a BBQ at her house so LO and I would go there and swim.

I'm really glad to hear your husband is doing well, @artbee!
I attended the church mother-daughter banquet last night with my mom, two of my grandmothers, and my older sister. I announced the pregnancy then. It was also my birthday!
Tomorrow we're going to church and visiting mom/my MIL for two different meals. I'll get to announce to the church family, DH's side, my other grandmother, and my two other sisters. Woohoo!
This weekend has been awesome.

We're going to church in the am, home for LO's nap, then lunch with friends. Then dinner just the 3 of us

DH's fam doesn't do holidays, so that makes it a little easier..we're splitting between my grandparents as I did growing up.
Brunch tomorrow with Mom's family, and then driving to my Dad's family to visit them.
Next year I'm putting my foot down, though, and doing what I want to do - not letting grandparents guilt me into visiting! It'll be my first mother's day, so tough luck for them

@Andrea: Yeah, at least that will take my mind off of it. I was just so hoping he'd be home. My head has been really bad so I haven't been able to get to the hospital every day to see him.

@Andrea: Thanks. It's just all the stress from DH being gone, and having to wake up at 4 am for his surgery, then spending the whole day worrying about it. I'm still recovering!

Since it's my first mother's day, we're going to church and then lunch. Hubs already got me a wallet and a locket so I'd say he's done more than enough!
