Really?? Mine lasts through all her naps, and sometimes I forget to turn it off for a while and mine has only ever beeped at me twice, and that was at 9pm.

@Bao: well, mine lasts through both naps but starts beeping shortly after she goes to bed (7 ish). maybe it gets worse the longer you've had it? i have noo idea!

yeah, ours sucks too. we basically just keep it plugged in all the time, we move the monitor and cord room to room with us. what a PITA

@sorrycharlie: Possibly! Mine has completely full bars right now and it's been on several hours today, while attempting to get her to nap. Buuuut I'm probably jinxing myself and it will start dying in a few months here.

it basically lasts from bedtime (~7:30pm) until I go up to sleep, around 10pm.

I am so surprised at how many of you have a sucky battery life. I think my version came out in March or April so maybe the newer models have a better battery life.
