Did you do a moving announcement? I want to but to be honest I am way too lazy and the thought of having to address a bunch of cards is what's keeping me from doing them. What's etiquette? Are emailed moving announcements ok?

I make my own and I always mail them. I like getting actual mail and I'm more likely to keep a card than keep an email.

We just mailed out moving announcements last week! I printed something simple from Vistaprint and spent a little time one night in front of the TV combing through our address book and got it done. It took surprisingly less time than I thought.
I will say that email is totally acceptable though - I just know I have more of our family friends actual addresses (from our wedding and recent birth announcement) than I do have their current emails. -
We didn't. I was 8 1/2 months pregnant and trying to get the house in order before baby came.

I think we will do a combo holiday card too. We close next month and are having family photos taken in October so we might do a 'SOLD' pic in front of the house....we shall see!
