We are finally moving to our new house tomorrow! It is a lot bigger downstairs (our current house is tiny!) but, upstairs , it's almost exactly the same as our current house - the rooms are a little bigger but the layout is virtually identical.

E is currently in the box room and we had intended to lay out the box room in the new house exactly like her current bedroom to smooth the transition. Then, we could set about decorating and furnishing her big girl room with her and let her decide when she is going to move.

However, we have now discovered that we are expecting baby #2 in April (if all goes well) and it has got me to thinking that I don't want E to feel as though she's being evicted from her nursery to make room for baby brother/sister. Perhaps the house move is an ideal time to make the switch so she doesn't associate the new box room with being her room??

But..... I don't want to her feel alone and scared in a great big room in a new house. Maybe I should get her used to the new house first and then make the switch - as in plan A??

I'm over thinking this, aren't I?!
