Have you ever shipped things ahead of time before a move? What company did you use? How many boxes of what size? What was the approximate cost?

We are moving cross-country in the next couple of weeks. We're not taking any furniture since the place we are going is furnished. But I don't think that our remaining stuff will all fit in the car. I'd love to ship ahead things we wont immediately need, like winter coats, shoes, etc.

It would probably be 3-4 boxes. Is there an economical way to do this or am I just totally clueless?
