We have a 3 hour training seminar on Monday that my co-worker was asked to pick up "munchies" for. It's from 2-5pm. I offered to pick it up this weekend IF I stop at BJs Wholesale.
What would you consider "munchies" for this scenario? We were thinking a dessert tray and 2 large sized bags of chips/pretzel. Our boss was non descriptive! 16 employees.

Only other idea would be maybe a fruit/veggie platter? Tea/soda?

Just finished a conference and yes, bags of pretzels/cheezits would be great. Also maybe trail mix? They even had fruit snacks. And a big bag of chocolate!

I would get individual bags of chips if you are getting chips. Maybe some bags of trail mix or nuts.

At a recent training we were provided Sunchips, Lay's, pretzels, Angels/ Cuties, individual trails mix packages, mini chocolate candies- but that wasn't really touched.

I would try to find things that DON'T crunch loudly. A big room full of people crunching chips and rustling bags would drive me nuts!
I'd do softer things like granola bars, mini muffins, cookies, fruit, peanut butter crackers, cheese/deli plate, etc.

When I think munchies, I think carbs and candy but I'd probably like it if someone brought a fruit plate and/or nuts.

A healthy option is a good idea but fruit platters can be pretty pricey. Maybe a box of cuties will be a good idea.
