Does your LO listen to music? I love a Disney Lullabies CD that we bought but was thinking about trying these out as well. I think she recognizes certain songs now and associates them with sleepy time.

He is only 6 months, so I choose the music... or DH
DH always chooses classical or Irish melodies haha!
I will listen to anything with him. Our favorite is country lol!!
Our favorite kids albums are Hidden in My Heart and Elizabeth Mitchell (her songs are SOcute!) as well as Laurie Berkner.
I also sing his current top hits. He loves being entertained or danced around.

LO loves music. We listen to all types and sing to her a lot. She loves singing and I can recognize the songs she sings too!

We haven't downloaded/purchased any kids music. I'm hoping to avoid it for as long as possible! Right now LO just listens to whatever we listen to. I did have a couple friends tell me that their babies loved reggae so I downloaded some Bob Marley, but LO does not seem to care!

DD has some toddler cd's she loves. She's really into music, so sometimes she'll dictate what to put on (like Josh Groban, lol).

I bought the Coldplay/DMB CDs off of Baby Steals this morning. I thought it would be a nice change from the FP Seahorse :). My son isn't super into music now @ 5 months but my husband and I have selfishly vowed to never allow kiddie music in our cars. We both have a lot of good memories growing up listening to our parents' music and we want the same for our son.

Those rockabye albums are amazing! We have Coldplay, U2, the Ramones, bob marley, smashing pumpkins and nirvana. We play music during our bedtime routine.

I love the Rockabye Baby albums! DH and I both love music so we will probably be playing all sorts of non-kid stuff for LO once he comes.
