Turns our letting her scream in her carseat on the way home from dinner seriously tires her out 
And on the plus side, I got more in the five minutes or so of pumping just to take the edge off than I usually do in a full twenty minutes. I didn't want to totally empty since she could wake up at any minute.
Does 11 pm to five am count as STTN? We are almost there!

Oh my word! Nice one! E is still waking every 3 hrs - if she goes four in the night Im super proud!!

@Cherrybee: she had been having regular four hour stretches but lately has only been doing three and a half, so this was crazy! She fell asleep on Dh around 10:30 or so, didn't wake up when I changed and swaddled her, and just woke up calmly at 5:15 am!
If only I could do everything exactly the same an get the same result every night.

She didn't wake when you changed her? Woah! Did you drug her??! E has gone that long a couple of times in the day if she is in the car and/or pushchair - the movement knocks her out. But at night - no chance!!

@Cherrybee: actually I had a beer and got really paranoid and was googling to see if I had drugged her at 5 am!!!
She hates the car and her stroller. All this talk of babies who love the car and it knocks then out- only works for her in that she screamed so much she used up all her energy. I did manage to get her to take a paci for a few minutes In the car though, step in the right direction.

woohoooo! i still remember celebrating when this happened for us the first time!! and because i'm a stubborn wench i refused to get up and pump or do anything until LO woke up and ended up with completely soaked sheets and the sorest boobs! was so worth it though 
fingers crossed this keeps up!

@Foodnerd81: Aaw, that must be awful. At least I know if I need to go somewhere and she is screaming I can pop her in the car seat and she will relax once we get moving. She hates it when I stop though - yesterday I took her for a walk around the park and I was marching like a loon because every time i slowed down to a stroll she would wake up!

Yay! 5 hours totally counts as STTN! I hated when I had to pump in the middle of the night, but if she sleeps like this more consistently, your body will eventually let you sleep a little longer, too!
Lol and you having one beer shouldn't hurt her!

@Foodnerd81: yay!!!! I'm lol-ing at you googling beer and babies. I'm glad you had such a good stretch...too bad she hates the car seat and stroller. G has neeever slept through a diaper change, I'd probably be worried I'd drugged her too!

@Cherrybee: you should see me walking with her in the moby- sometimes fast walking isn't enough and I have to basically do lunge-walks. Baby wants mommy to lose that baby weight I guess!
