No matter how often I clip his nails - I am always finding a new scratch on his face. He just scratched himself on his cheek and it's a long, noticeable, red line. I am so saddened by it! And we have pictures tomorrow.

Yup. I just deal with it. Yeah, she has scratches or marks on her face sometimes but it's okay. It doesn't seem to bother her and I figure there's nothing I can really do about it!

yes, it really makes me sad when I see a scratch on her face. sometimes she scratches really deep. I do try to clip her nails very often but she still does it every now and then

Yes! She even drew a bit of blood on her nose a few days ago. Mittens won't stay on her hands either. And I worry that she isn't getting enough sensory stimulation of her hands if I keep them tucked away all the time.

Yes, and me too! I have a big scratch on my cheek. It doesn't look pretty but that's how babies learn and discover the world so I don't worry about it, luckily DS heals pretty quickly.
