I hate when other people call R my baby. DHs sister does it all the time. Calls her my girl, my baby, etc, gets me so mad and DH thinks I am overreacting. She even changed her FB picture to R. Sorry you had boys, but she isn't your child!!!

Would drive me crazy too ! We've dressed J minimally since birth he is ALWAYS hot and people freak out !

Yeah my MIL drove me crazy when DD was a newborn. She was constantly saying her feet were cold and putting sock on her. Meanwhile it's 100 degrees outside and a comfortable 75 in our house. I tried not to get worked up about it and let her do her "grandma worrying" You've got to choose your battles, right? =)

My mom has been like this since the beginning. "Are u gonna put a jacket/socks/blanket/hat on him?" Insinuating that what I've put him already is not enough

@grizz: MIL was just harassing me about the tshirt and diaper! She gets so sweaty when we nurse if she's wearing more clothes.

Once a man told me LO was cold when she was sleeping peacefully in her stroller with a hat and blanket on. She was obviously very comfortable! I just walked away.

I was bothered by the "my baby" thing at first too, but then I realized that LO is theirs too. Not her baby, but her grandbaby. So she's still hers.

Oh, and yeah...when I was pregnant, my MIL would ask how, "my baby" is doing...and I'd tell her DH is just fine, thanks.
