and we are suppose to go stay with my parents next weekend!

Just wanted to see if anyone had any experience with this or advice. My dad’s Dr. said it would be ok to be around him, he just can’t hold LO/ no contact and had to be fully clothed all the time. But the nurse at our pediatrician’s office said "they don’t recommend it".

My dad went to the Dr. on Monday and was diagnosed and given meds. Today my mom said all the blisters are gone and everything scabbed over. My sisters 4 kids (ranging in age from 6 to 16) have been around him all week and have been hanging out at my parent’s house and none of them have had Chicken pox and so far no one had got them. Not sure if there is an incubation period or anything.
So if he doesn’t have any blisters and seems to be better is it ok to go stay with them? DH is still worried and I am torn because I really want to go, but not if it would put LO at risk.
