My niece is turning 9 in a few days (wow!) so I asked her what she wanted for her birthday. She thought about it for a few days then asked for something science related, Diary of A Wimpy Kid series and a Totally Me! Hair thing.

She asked for books!! When did she get so "grown up"?? Sigh. I guess it might be appropriate this year to get her a set of my favorite children series for Christmas.
