ETA: another we LOVE but ruled out because it rhymes with my husband's name is Maeve. Maeve Claire would be pretty and you could honour BOTH family members. not sure if it's your style though!

My favourite right now is Willa and my husband's is Gemma. I also really loved Alice. -
@loki: We do like Elizabeth. We could try to be strategic about the nicknames! Haha. Also we have tons of Williams in our family and I tried so hard to get DH on board with Willa, but he just didn't love it. I hope you get to use it!!
