Which do you prefer for a girl?
I'm buying some water/summer shoes for my DD and debating which brand I should get.

Chops, between the two I'm leaning towards Natives. I've read some stuff on the safety and development issues of Crocs that are making me hesitant to buy them!

I think the natives are really cute, but my DD really preferred her crocs. She hated the natives. Maybe because she has wide feet. I'm super paranoid about the crocs though, she doesn't wear them anywhere except around the backyard or to school water play since my nephew had gotten his croc stuck in the escalator.

She loves her Crocs! We don't ride a lot of escalators...gotta take the elevator with the strollers!

I can't stand crocs so that one is a no for me and if your LO has wide feet, natives are probably not a good choice. We went with Keens this year and are loving them. http://amzn.com/B001TDFT1W Keen makes several styles so if the one I linked to isn't your style, do a search.

I've read that extended use of crocs is really bad for your feet, so I would not buy them.

I don't really like the way crocs look but I think natives are adorable!
