Need to get a quick check if I am being cold hearted here...

I have like 5 sets of dishes. My white everyday plates, a green glass set (given to me by my grandma - used as everyday dishes when my mother was little), Amber glass dish set (was my great aunts, took from my grandma's when she was moving from her house and needed to down size), Mom and Dads china (Mom gave to me when she moved - parents are divorced Mom did not want them) and Tracy Porter dishes (held by me, for my sister, when my mom wanted to get rid of).

This is ridiculous. I have only used the white ones and green ones. I have had my moms china for 10 year - never used. The Amber dishes I have had for 18 mos - never used. The Tracy Porter ones I have had for 6 mos - have not used but technically I am holding them for my sister.

This is my plan:
1) Sell Mom & Dads china. Will likely get $500-750 from replacement.com for them.
2) Sell Amber Glass dishes. Will likely get about $200 for them.
3) Hold Tracy Porter dishes for my sister for another 6 mos (she has a 2500 sq ft place - she can find the room if she really wants them....besides I am still holding silver she took from my grandma 3+ years ago). After that time...offer to bring them to her or sell them and she can have the money.

Take the money (Amber dishes and China) and put it towards some MacKenzie Childs serving pieces I have been oogling for years.

Need some input on if my actions here are "cold"? Its just not feasible to get proper use of 4 sets of dishes (my 4 - excluding Tracy Porter). Plus, the china is handwash only and I will have a 2 yo and a nb come March.
