D'Oh! I was reading a news article (well, more like quickly scanning it) on my phone, and intended to save it for later, but lost it.

The news article referenced an academic study that showed that children inhabit a different world than adults, and this world is catered specifically to their needs - e.g. children's meals, restaurants that have furniture adapted to them, children-only entertainment centers, etc - using an acronym that began with a W (maybe WEIRD or WIRED?), and this world was a source of stress for modern parents.

I believe I was reading either the NYT or the Atlantic's recent articles on Relentless Parenting and Intensive Parenting, respectively, but after checking them - the study isn't referenced there.

Any ideas? It was an academic study published by a journal of psychology or something similar, and I wanted to read the original.
