Do you have one? Do you love it? Have you had any issues with it? We have a Keurig and love the convenience of the k-cups but I think I would just love a Nespresso machine to make coffee and espresso. Where do you buy your pods for the Nespresso?

we have one and it's great! we actually ditched our keurig (well, didn't replace it when it broke) because we prefer making espresso/lattes than k-cups. but, we just bought a drip machine--we didn't use to drink coffee at the same time, but now that we do it seems silly to use pods rather than just make one big pot.
we buy the pods from nespresso online or at one of their boutiques. they sell them on amazon but for more than directly from nespresso

I have one, it's the Latissima. I do love it and have never had any issues, but one of my first jobs was working at Nespresso, so I know how to fix small issues (so ask me if you have problems!). But seriously, many Nespresso problems come from user error, and if you do have a problem, the Nespresso customer service is actually really really good. I go to the Nespresso boutique to buy capsules because there is a shop 15 minutes walking from my apartment.

My husband loves it, he gets his pods from Nespresso.
I, on the other hand, lover of American filter coffee, only like the gold pods, made lungo. Have you sampled it? I think you can sample it at Williams Sonoma.

I loveeeee my Nespresso! If you like lattes the milk frother is awesome too. I froth milk for hot cocoa too with it. I'm far from a coffee snob, but I do like the taste of all the pods I've tried a lot better than the k-cups I've tried. I order them online from either Nespresso or Amazon if I need them really quickly!

@nana87: we are on our 3rd Keurig but their customer service is amazing - it stops working and they try to fix over the phone and if it doesn't work they send you a new machine! Only DH drinks coffee on a daily basis so the single cup of coffee feature is what we like. I used to drink coffee daily but my mom has early onset osteoporosis so I'm high risk and the docs want me to lay off the caffeine
@lamariniere: good to know they have great customer service and that I can ask you! Do they make decaf pods and how are they?
@looch: next time I'm at Williams Sonoma I will check it out!
@twodoghouse: So DH ordered a milk frother for me after I told him you loved making homemade lattes. I'm going to make chai tea lattes - so excited!!! I think it's supposed to arrive tomorrow. I'm not that picky about coffe but I have tried several Kcups that I don't like

@sandy: They make 3 decafs, I believe. One lungo (which is the long cup) and 2 espressos. The decaf intenso is really good for decaf! (I like strong, full-bodied coffee and this one suites me).

@sandy: Yay, that's awesome! I drink the decaf pods sometimes too because Blake is iffy with me drinking caffeine. I drink the red ones (can't remember the name) and it is tasty!

I'm thinking of getting one soon. I spend way too much at Starbucks and I'm trying to save money but still get my latte in.
Machine is kinda pricey but considering how much I've spent at Starbucks... it's actually a good deal.
Which unit did you end up getting?

We were recently given an Inissia. I think it tastes pretty good, but honestly I prefer my French press. I have a Bialetti espresso pot too, so the only advantage of the Nespresso is that it's fast. My main issue with the Nespresso is that it produces SO much waste. I am about to order a recycling bag from Nespresso, but still, that's kind of a pain compared to the French press.
If you want foamy milk, get one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Vktech-Stainless-Frother-Double-Creamer/dp/B00BJF6F4K/ref=pd_sim_sbs_79_1?ie=UTF8&dpID=41HVm2VLK0L&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=07DW6XW4QEX2E0Y7EK52
You heat up the milk in another cup in the microwave (or on the stove), then plunge a few times and pour it into your coffee.

@honeybear: Oh, I'm really mindful about the trash I produce. Good to know there is a recycling bag that you can get.

I got my husband the Vertuo one with the Aeroccino milk frother, and he LOVES it. He definitely cut back on the Starbucks when he could make cappuccinos at home. The milk frother is amazing, I don't drink coffee but I use it for tea lattes. And if you have a Nespresso store near you you can recycle the capsules there.

If you live close to a Nespresso boutique, they collect used capsules. I always take mine to recycle when I go buy more coffee.
