So I've been at my job for a little under a year so I'm not super close to anyone. My boss' mother just passed away, and they're having a wake tonight from 7-9pm, and funeral mass at 9 am tomorrow.

The thing is, to get from here to there, either day w/ traffic, would take at least 2.5hrs. I already checked and carpools are already full so far. I was going to go to the wake tonight but I'd have to leave work at 4 and won't be home till like 11. I was going to go tonight because I thought for co-workers you usually go to the wake, not funeral.

Then I found out there are some people going to the funeral, and work would be okay w/ me being gone for half a day to go. But I would have to leave my house at like 6:30am.

What should I do?
