I wasn't sure what category to put this in...
I kind of thought delayed cord clamping was a "hippy" kind of movement, until an RN group I follow on twitter posted this article:

Very interesting. My only experience with delayed cord clamping was when I was a nursing student and a baby was born blue and not breathing and the mom didn't want them to cut the cord yet but the baby was blue and not breathing! And I am not an L&D nurse so that's all I've seen. Made me against it... But this article makes me much more open to it!
something about gravity and the way the blood flows if you get immediate skin to skin. Made me sad, but I trusted her expertise and went with it!
