So L was up at 5 am today (UGH) so I took him downstairs to play while i watched an episode of Girls and cleaned up the DVR. And it occurred to me that this is a chore that didn't exist before DVRs were invented...even though it's extremely satisfying i was semi-irritated that I had to do it. (DH has a bad habit of not deleting stuff he watches.)
So...are there any newly-invented chores that you can think of that irritate you?

Backing up my photos/hard drives. And keeping all my financial spreadsheets in order… although I guess before technology you just had more physical paper/checkbooks to deal with and that was probably not better.

Keeping charging chords/headphones in a place you won't lose them! Our eldest has a baaaad habit of losing stuff like this and is always borrowing ours and moving them and then we can't find them!
I am not sure if that's a chore, but it sure is annoying. LOL

Cleaning up my email. I spent time today unsubscribing from a whole bunch of emails and it irritated me that I had to spend so much time on something so silly!

OMG. I HATE that DH will sometimes wait a whole month to watch things he DVRs.
Another thing I find to be a chore, updating systems for my phone and ipad. It seems as soon as I finally update the push out a new OS.

Deleting stuff of my phone -- texts, emails, photos, videos. The same for the computer, e-mails, photos, and videos. Plus, backing up all of that kinds of stuff. It takes a lot of time!
