Have any of you seen this story? I can't bring myself to watch the video. I'm in tears over this at work that someone would try to flush their newborn down the toilet. They say the baby's breathing has stabilized and is doing better now. Breaks my heart.

I just saw this on Facebook. So heartbreaking. I can't even begin to understand how someone could do that.

It sickens me that this still happens. But it does. I still hear about -not on the news, mind you, personal accounts- parents giving up their baby to orphanages bc it was a girl and not a boy.

Hope he is going to be ok! There are plenty of people on this world that want babies, this is just so wrong...

While it is heartbreaking and tragic, it is also life affirming that people would pay enough attention to realize there was a baby in there and that everyone rallied to get him out. He is one lucky baby and I can only imagine that any parent who would do that must have been in severe distress or seriously mentally ill.
