I really haven't thought about what my LO will wear for her pro newborn pics next week!
I'm guessing light colors and maybe a hair bow. Did you pick anything special for your LO?

i wanted to keep it simple, so she was pretty naked except for a diaper the whole time
Also, I didn't know the baby's sex prior, so it made planning for it a bit tricky... But I knew our photographer was bringing newborn props -- baskets, blankets, hats...

She just wore a diaper.
My photographer said she likes to capture the newness of the baby and focus on baby and not clothes. I'm glad she did that, I would have gone out and bought tutus and ruffles, and I'm sure in the pictures all you'd see are tutus and ruffles. Now the focus is on the baby.

My LO was just in a white onesie wrapped around a nice blanket. We only did the hospital photo shoot so it wasn't anything elaborate but they came out great!

If I can managed I'd like to do some newborn photos on my own as we can't really afford expensive photos. He'll be likely wearing a diaper, and on my sheepskin rug placed on the dresser/bed up against our bright green walls.

I think newborns look adorable naked with a bow or hat on their heads!

I have an SLR camera so I plan to take my own photos I will do mostly naked shots or just have them wrapped in a blanket. I did see one where the baby was naked but had on some fairy wings and it was so sweet..

I put DD in a white cloth diaper for some pictures, a tutu for the super girly ones & naked in a little newborn cocoon from etsy. Just changes a few things (bow, tutu, blanket, etc) is much easier then trying to change a lot of outfits on a little one
