Furniture for our front room! I'm not sure what we want for a room we won't hang out in! Chairs? Couch?

A replacement kitchen table.

Well we are selling our couch and almost everything else (except our bed) when we move to NYC so...everything!

A new couch that can fit into a small living room and can double as a sleeper.

Mostly smaller decor items, ex. a mirror for our entry hall. We're mostly looking at outdoor things since we need to really spruce up our backyard!

We just purchased a new couch and loveseat. I don't think we will be making anymore purchases until we actually buy a house.

A sectional is on the top of my list! We currently have two hand me down, mismatched sofas that NEED to go!! A mattress upgrade tops my DH's list though.

We don't really *need* anything. I'm thinking/wondering though if we should get a new table and chairs (or at least new chairs) for our dining nook in the next year or so. Once our LO starts eating solids I think we'll probably try to sit at an actual table to eat dinner instead of on the couch every night, and eating in our formal dining room feels a bit stuffy to me. We have a nice breakfast nook with a table but the chairs are really uncomfy so we never ever sit there.

We just purchased a new dresser today! I've been eyeing it for months, but I was waiting for it to go on sale and it finally did. We just moved though, so there's still lots of stuff we need!

In reality, probably nursery furniture once we are pregnant with LO #2.

Everything. We want a new kitchen set, couch, bedroom set, tv stand and bookshelves. I also want a table for my sewing machine.

Dining room furniture. We only have a table and chairs, which were all hand me downs.

Bedroom furniture for us and the kids. Dining set. kitchen set, living room furniture, patio furniture.

We would really like a new couch! We got ours for free and they are very old, very ugly and pretty uncomfortable. Once we save the money, something else always seems to come up!

We don't NEED anything, but we would like to upgrade our bed to a queen (only have a full) and we'd like a new, larger, more comfortable couch. Both will wait till we buy a house, though. Sigh.

I would LOVE a new couch, loveseat and chair for our living room, but good luck with that anytime soon.
We need to purchase a frame for our bed (we upgraded to a king, and the mattress/box springs are sitting on the floor!) and nightstands.

I'd post a pic if I had any! But, we haven't found what we wanted yet or else we would've bought it. We're on the hunt for a dining table for our eat-in kitchen. I don't want anything to just hold us over, I want a REALLY NICE one.

Nothing exciting ; a new twin mattress for M's big girl bed. We have a old twin frame we plan to refinish and the box frame is perfectly fine. But we want her to have a new firm mattress.

@CupQuakeWalk: yes! We've been searching for a new table for so long. We can't have anything too dark because our floors are so dark. If we didn't have a budget, we would buy do a custom built table from Bassett.

@HLK208: haha, us too. If we wanted to spend a HUGE chunk of change, we'd buy a naked solid wood table and have it custom finished to match and go along with our cabinets and hardwood. It's REALLY tough to buy furniture when you've got cabinets and wood-flooring to coordinate the furniture with

I'd love a pie safe to go in my bedroom under where the tv is mounted to the wall. I'd prefer it be an antique.

well....probably the next furniture piece will be a twin bed for my baby in a year or two. But when my husband finishes residency in 2.25 years and gets an actual job (whose counting? me. I'm counting. every day.) our first purchase will be a king sized bed.
followed by living room furniture, I would imagine, since right now we have a futon and floor cushions.
