I'm on my feet a lot at work and usually wear sneakers. I'd like to get something nicer looking/more professional but comfortable and with lots of support, and I have to be able to seamlessly transition to chasing toddler/mom duty. Any thoughts?

I always see doctors/nurses wearing Dansko shoes so I assume they are super comfortable. They don't make them in my size but if they did I would have seriously thought about buying a pair for our trip to Europe this fall where we'll be walking around all day. They're not the cutest shoe but here are some that I thought would look ok.

I really like Danskos. When I was teaching, I started wearing super cute shoes. That lasted, like, a day. I lived in my Danskos for two years. And they just started making sneakers, which I bought and love as well!

I put high arch birkenstock insert in my shoes. Full footbed is best and I can only find them one place online, but they work really well in my choice of shoe (frye boots).
