Meanest: I was in my car driving and my blinker stopped working, so I gave a hand signal, some guy across the intersection obviously didn't catch it, (or was too dumb to know what it meant) so we turned at the same time, he yelled "Learn to drive you fat F&$%". I cried a lot that day.

Nicest: Someone at our swimming classes came up to me who was just going for free swim and said "I've seen you with your daughter here before, you are just a great mom" or something like that. I love that lady.

Meanest: someone told me that the reason my husband and I are still married is due to the fact that we don't even live together. For the record, he works out of town and is gone two weeks at the most. We talk every night on the phone, email and text. Usually he is home every 2-3 days.

Nicest: one of my students' parents told me that my classroom is a place of love and respect and that their child is learning from a great person. Someone they want their child to grow up to be.

@Jennimac: Awww... your nice comment is really wonderful! I'm sure that made you feel great, especially since teaching is such a demanding job (I used to be in the profession).

@HeatherlovesKenny: the mean comment you got sounds motivated 100% by jealousy.

Nicest: I received a GORGEOUS flower arrangement yesterday out of the blue from this florist I work with sometimes, but it was the accompanying note that made me awww:

"I always think of you with a smile so I wanted to send you a little something to smile about - hope you're having a terrific week!

Omg people are really mean!

The meanest thing I got recently was a few months ago when a friend of a friend said that I was fat and needed to be hidden behind people in a picture. For the record, I was 8 months pregnant when she said that and I'm a fairly thin/petite girl even when I was pregnant! I think she may have been joking, but it was poorly executed and not funny.

The nicest is DH said that he thought I was a great mom to our LO. It was out of the blue and so appreciated!

Meanest: my boss yelled at me on Friday. I was asking for direction in creating something I've never seen before and he mocked me, and got a disrespectful tone. We joke, but things were already tense at that moment and it got awkward.

Nicest: crap, I really can't think of anything. How sad! I guess I get compliments on superficial things- outfits and my hair.

Nicest: my favorite cashier at our grocery store said I didn't even look like I had a baby and my "beautiful body was already back." It made me feel so good since I feel like such a chubby chiuaua this days.

Meanest: nothing too rude lately. Except I do get told I look 15 or 16 every time I work. People say they would guess 18 at tops. I don't feel like I look that young. It irritates me!
