Early bird. I went to bed last night at 9 PM. And I'm not even pregnant yet. I assume once I am I will want to go to sleep at like 6.

extreme night owl by nature but having a kid and job force me to be a normal day person

@lovelife: I'm like you. I go to bed early (sometimes really early) but I love to sleep in! I don't sleep late, I just like to lay in bed forever.

I can't remember. It's been a long time since I had the option to choose!

Night owl. I am not a happy person in the mornings (no matter how much sleep I get).

Both. Night owl by choice and early bird due to someone's crazy early wake up time. That just means I operate on very little sleep.

Definitely a night owl- I am most productive in the evenings. I hear having kids helps you be a bit more early bird, here's hoping I can make it work!

Funny, I was going to say neither too. And I assumed I'd be the only one. Guess not! I am really productive in the early afternoon. The mornings and evenings tend to be when I am prone to putting on my cranky pants, haha.

If I had to pick, early bird. I prefer to be in bed by 9. But I like to sleep in till 8. I guess that's early for most people, but my LO wakes up earlier so I haven't gotten to "sleep in" in a long time.

I've gone back and forth with this over the years. As a kid I was a total morning person. In college I switched to a night person. After college I turned into a lame person who went to bed at a normal time and woke up at a normal time. I've always been able to fall asleep any time, any where and sleep soundly. Since being pregnant though my sleep has S.U.C.K.E.D! I have been going to bed anywhere from 6-8pm because I simply cannot keep my eyes open another second but then I wake up around 3:30-4:00 and can't go back to sleep. Hasn't been super pleasant lately.

Always been a night owl and always will be (even as an exhausted parent... sort of!)

same as @Yin: early bird and night owl: our mornings are early for work commute/daycare hustle, and nights because we put a lot of value on spending as much mom and dad hangout time after he's down for bed (that, and moping about because we're dreading the new cycle for the next day).
Which makes weekends that much more glorious (read: naps for mom and dad when LO takes his, when we can!)

Im in the neither boat also!!!! I just love sleep period....pregnancy has been a huge adjustment for me sleep wise as I NEVER woke up in the middle of the might or became uncomfortable ever. This is a regular occurance now. I swear its so your body is prepared for sleeplessness ahead once baby arrives!
