My 14 month regularly wakes up soaked at night - and I mean soaked...her undershirt and pjs are wet up to her armpits and her sleep sack is wet to the touch. It's basically like she didn't have a diaper on at all. The best I can tell she has managed to push the front of the diaper all the way down and over (it looks like she is wearing low rise undies and the side tab is barely holding on). I cannot figure out how she is managing to do this in zip front Pjs and a sleep sack. Has anyone has this happen? Any suggestions? Would going to cloth at night help?

size up and put it on tight? Maybe panties over it?

What size is she wearing? Are they overnights?

Overnight diapers in 1 size up helped us. Also when we put it on, we really tried to pull it up in the front.

DS sleeps on his stomach with his knees tucked under so this happened a lot. Size up in overnights for sure, tight fastening, 2 piece pjs or track pants with elastic waist to hold the diaper up, and no fluids after supper at 6:00 pm (he's 2 so maybe not applicable for your daughters age)

Ill echo the above posters and also recommend 'sposies. They are inserts you can buy from amazon. My LO (now 20 months) started soaking thru the overnights as well even tho we upped a size. She LOVES water. girl is hydrated. So anyway, huggies overnight plus sposie insert.

My LO sleeps on her tummy & sometimes tucks her arms down under her body. Maybe your LO is doing this & pushing her diaper down. Anyway, I agree that overnite diapers have helped us with leaks up the belly when pulled up high.

It probably only looks like it's being pushed down because it's full and pulling down because of the weight. A bigger size will help.

@Littlebit7: I was coming to mention Sposies!
They look like a giant pad that you stick in the diaper. You have to make sure you line it up with the top of the front of the diaper so they get full coverage. We also pair those with higgies overnites or even just regular huggies have worked for us with the sposie.
Without a sposie there is no diaper that works anymore. He's 2 and some change. -
It's probably because she's sleeping on her belly, like with her knees tucked under which is putting pressure on her bladder and pushing the pee out at a forceful rate. So basically the diaper can't catch the pee fast enough as it's pouring down towards her belly and chest. And it looks lowrising bc of the weight of the diaper in the front part.
I would size up the diaper and pull it up high in the front - like well above the waist around the rib cage. I'm a boy mom so we tend to hike up diapers in the front anyway and my boys have always been in bigger diapers hiked up to above their waist because they sleep in that crouched position.
