I have been bf ing for a week so my nipples are still pretty tender. But they really hurt when cold. And it's 7 degrees here and drafty so that's often. Any advice?

No advice except to keep them warm!! It'll mostly go away in a few more weeks.

Mine were the same! Lasted for a few weeks. I just suffered through and tried to keep warm!

Do you wear breast pads? I know that I have the organic bamboo breast pads, so soft!, and it keeps them warm.

Is there blanching as well? Like does the nipple turn white-ish? Could be reynauds, I would google it.

Mine were sensitive at first and hurt any time I was cold and also any time I got emotional. Very strange. But LO is seven weeks today and it has mostly gone away.

It's not reynauds, they stay red. It is really cold here though. I slept with extra blankets on, just for my nipples!

It happens to me too. Brr. It's like a stabbing pain sometimes, but it goes away when I get back inside where it's warm (:
