LO is a little over 2 months old and I have yet to get my period. I had minor spotting one day, but nothing since and that was a couple weeks ago. I know breastfeeding can delay menstruation post delivery, but I only lasted a couple of weeks (it never came in). How long did it take you to get your period after delivery? Does anyone know what the "normal" range is?

I BF and got my period at 4 months pp, but my Bff does not breast feed and she got her period at 7 months pp.

my milk never realy came in and i had to give up breastfeeding after a couple weeks bc lo kept losing weight big time, i reallly really struggle with it. i got my period back at 7 weeks after having him. it sucked i was hoping for a couple more weeks period free but nope!

Still breastfeeding and first period was 7.5 months pp, right after DS picked up a third feeding of solids a day.

My milk never came in either. LO is 13 weeks and I haven't gotten my period yet. I think I might call my doctor soon as back at the end of July she said I should expect my period "in the next few weeks". Hmm, so I'm not sure what's "normal".

I'm 5 months pp and haven't gotten it yet. I did get a Mirena at 6 weeks pp though.

I don't remember exactly but it did take awhile. I still did skin to skin often and for some reason I think that kept my milk from drying up completely, so my period stayed away.

I BF and I got my period at 2.5 months.

I BFed for 4 weeks. The PP bleeding lasted for 5 weeks. I had a heavy discharge for a week and then got my period at 7 weeks PP.

Sigh, 4-5 weeks? With both kids it was before my postpartum check, although I did breastfeed DD for about 2 weeks, so it might've been closer to 6 weeks with her.
