I signed up to bring a kid friendly dessert for Thanksgiving. I have to make something else too, so I need an idea for something that isn't super time consuming. So making turkey out of candy corn and Hershey kisses on a cupcake, aren't happening.
Any ideas?

My favorite favorite favorite dessert for Thanksgiving and Christmas is Chocolate Chip Pie! It's really like a giant chocolate chip cookie.
I don't have the recipe though... my brother always makes it!

Found the Chocolate Chip Pie recipe! My brother always just uses a store-bought graham cracker crust. It's so delicious.

If you want really easy take a roll of pre made choc chip cookie dough and roll it into a circle on a pizza pan and bake - then cut into "pizza" slices. My kids think this is the best thing ever!!

M&M cookies are super easy to make & not time consuming. Cookies bake in like 10 minutes. If you really want to save time, you could even buy sugar cookie mix or break & bakes and add M&M's. They sell fall-colored M&M's, so they would look festive!

@Adira: isn't it? And it's super easy too! It's my bother's favorite so I always make it for him. He doesn't like any other pies or desserts, but loves cookies, so it's perfect for our Thanksgiving pie bar! Plus, I make cookies all the time so the pie is extra special.

L loves cookies as dessert the most (and as a mom, I like cookies without chocolate because chocolate = MESS!). Cookies are easy to eat too, no silverware!

@Smurfette: my niece and nephews are addicted to jello so I think I'm going to make a jello cake in Thanksgiving colors for them!
