I need help. I've pretty much lived in nursing bras for the past 3 years. I weaned #2 almost 6 months and I'm still wearing nursing bras! Lol they are way more comfortable than what is in my underwear draw (all have an underwire that I despise). I know I should get fitted again... Need some recommendations that is NOT Victoria's Secret...

I really like GapBody's wireless bras! They support my itty bitties just great. Dunno how they would fare for larger women.

I love Soma Intimates much more than VS. Aerie is also nice. I go there for pretty bras that aren't super expensive, but they don't carry my current size in stores.

My mom wears wireless bras and she likes gap body and Maidenform. Maidenform is always having sales too.

I need new bras desperately too! Mine are so old and don't fit right after nursing. My mom gave me some money for Christmas to go get fitted professionally. There's a local shop here that has girls that have been trained by a corsetier. You sign in and they work with you one on one to get you the perfect bra that fits your needs. I'm super excited to go! Maybe there's a place like that in your area. My second choice would be Nordstrom or Dillard's or maybe Macy's.

I have huge ones with a small rib cage. I actually do bra surgery- I simply take the underwires out! I have a hard time finding supportive styles otherwise in my size.

I have wire-free bras from both Gap Body and Soma that I really like. I don't care for the ones from Macy's (I forget what brand, maybe Maidenform?) that I have because the band isn't firm enough and kind of rolls/bunches. I actually have a few different styles of those and don't like any...when I revamp my top drawer, I'll definitely stick with GB and Soma.

I was in the same boat post weaning. Before baby all my bras were underwire but after pregnancy and BFing 14 months they just weren't comfortable. I hate spending tons of money on bras because I'm notorious for abusing them (regular wash, dryer etc) so I found some at target that were their Gilligan O'Malley brand. They still offered some shape but without the wire.

If I never fit back into my regular bras I think I will live in my coobies forever too!
