@matador84: I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing a delay! I must have missed that email.

I got my first order today! Only one of several items though... this jacket, and it's a keeper - http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/caslon-asymmetrical-drape-collar-terry-jacket-regular-petite/4349682 - Caslon never disappoints me.

Ok did anyone else not get charged correctly for their order??
1 item of my order shipped by itself and I was only charged for that one item which was around $35. The other items which totaled over $350 are no where to be seen on my credit card.

@mrskansas: has the rest of the stuff shipped yet? Sometimes they don't charge your card until everything actually ships
Received my entire order 1 week ahead of their estimated delivery date!! Woo hoo. My barefoot dreams circle cardigan is amazing. The Zella crops and leggings are amazing. Returning a few items for myself and LO. DH scored big time with a lot of workwear. Shoes and blazers.

@Littlebit7: yes I received everything last night, that's what is strange about it!

got a lot (and plan to return a lot) this morning! Mostly underwear/bras and some Zella stuff. All of the work-appropriate items I was eyeing are sold out.
BUT the barefoot dreams cardigan is sold out in my size in ALL colors, and the tahari dress I really wanted was too. Fingers crossed they will restock....

I placed 3 separate orders and everything except two bras in my first order came in. Love it all! I surprised dh with a new pair of shoes for work and he loves them! I'm in love with my new barefoot dreams cardigan and picked up one for my mom for Christmas. DS got a lego set for his birthday, duplos for my niece, a Patagonia jacket for dh for Christmas, a pair of high waisted Zella's for post baby, and one of my favorite pleione tops.
They restocked SOME items for public sale
Today!!

So far I mostly struck out and am sending back, except for a pair of spanx faux leather leggings and a boring black cardigan that's hard to go wrong with for work. Agreed with everyone who recommended leggings, can't wait to wear them next winter! I'm still waiting on the barefoot dreams circle cardigan to arrive.

How are you watching the item you want to come back in stock?
nectarine / 2813 posts
@periwinklebee: I really want to buy the Spanx faux leather leggings... but what do you wear with them?!
cantaloupe / 6171 posts
I ordered the barefoot dreams cardigan all of you are raving about and love it! I wish it was cold enough to wear now lol. Everything I ordered has been great except one madewell shirt I'll send back. I'd read it was good for nursing but it was just so boxy and short on me.
You all keep talking about these spanx faux leather leggings; not my style but has anyone tried their jeggings?
grapefruit / 4466 posts
@mrskansas: tunic tops, long sweaters, or a longer open cardigan and tee, basically anything that covers my butt I had a faux leather pair of leggings from Etsy that I got so many compliments on - really happy to have found a good replacement!

@nana87: I ordered them to try on, but I don't think they've shipped yet - I'm super curious!
nectarine / 2813 posts
@periwinklebee: Hmm... I wear leggings all the time in the winter but I just wasn't sure if I could pull off the leather ones. Now I'm tempted to try them!
Another dumb question... what kind of shoes do you wear with them?
blogger / eggplant / 11551 posts
@T.H.O.U.: I can't wait to wear it when it cools down! I'm a sucker for tunic-length anything.
@mrskansas: That's so weird!
Only one other thing from my order came (a Free People turtleneck that I returned). The rest of the stuff is estimated to come next week. I tried on the B.P. booties I ordered online while I was doing my in-store return and love them. Can't wait for them to get here.
I got DH two pairs of Ecco shoes and Olukai flip flops. He never shops for himself, but he really needed some new shoes. He is already in love with his flip flops that came.
This thread is fun.

@mrskansas: I think it really depends on the look of the leather. Some look too much like biker pants or just scream leather, and I couldn't pull it off, but the spanx ones are more understated.
In winter I pretty much always wear boots because there tends to be lots of slush/snow. I have a black pair by Durango that fall a few inches above the ankle that I got years ago from Zappos that are still my favorite. If it's warmer outside a pair of cute black ballet flats can work too.

@periwinklebee: I think I'm going to bite the bullet and try them. thanks for the suggestions - I'm hopeless when it comes to clothes!

@nana87: I turned the ac to subarctic this morning and drank my coffee wearing it
cantaloupe / 6171 posts
@Littlebit7: Sounds so perfect and cozy! I keep turning our ac colder since nursing is constantly making me sweat and dh just turns it down, boooooo

@nana87: Actually, the spanx black jean-ish leggings came today, and I *love* them. They look great and were super comfy to try on even though I'm 15 weeks pregnant (lol, probably means I should have sized down since I'm buying for postpartum, but I'm going for comfort). The only downside is that they were a bit on the short side for me (I'm 5'9"), but I still loved the look so definitely a keeper.

@mrskansas: Hah, at least Nordstrom's makes returns super easy if you change your mind - hope you love them!

Had early access with my card. Bought my son a north face moon doggy jacket, a cozy open cardigan and 2 kiehls hand creams.

Our stuff came a week before the expected delivery. Yay Nordstrom!! We got the Nuna Mixx2 stroller and Pipa car seat. I babysat a family last year who had these and it ruined every other brand for me Definitely pricey (I'm not normally into brands...just quality), but with the bundle and 10x points back, the car seat was basically free.
So many cute fall clothes. I'm torn between buying a few items or waiting (and missing out on the sale). I feel like it's probably silly to buy anything at 31 weeks prego.

I've added 2 more orders since I first posted.
Ended up getting (against my normal instinct) some baby stuff. Some jeans for my son. And got another BD circle cardigan for my mom (realized it's the perfect gift for her bday in August).
And then I just placed a third order for Exfolikate. I just used the last of my sample and thought WTF why not just get it. It's truly the best exfoliant EVAHHHHH.

@annem1990: I wanted to get the Citymini so badly during presale. My husband said go for it but I got weirdly sad and nostalgic to think about getting rid of the uppababy we literally brought my son home in (we walked from hospital to home). I'm so sick of that beast but I kinda want to use it for our next one too.
And then today I checked and it was sold out. Knew it would happen.
Also thought about getting the Maxicosi convertible seat for the next baby but it feels a bit Silly since it's like 16 months away before we would need it.
ETA: I'm also so sad to not get many clothes. But I got an open cardigan that will work and I'm considering a couple more.

@annem1990: Hahaha speak for yourself. I'm 16 weeks and started buying postpartum stuff like a week or two ago!!

So I ordered two barefoot dreams circle cardigans, sam edelman booties, BP plaid shirt, the Spanx leather leggings everyone here raves about, and the tea collection dress for my girls (got them both the same color: http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/tea-collection-mixed-print-dress-toddler-girls-little-girls-big-girls/4611423?cm_mmc=email_tran-_-072117-_-order_confirm-_-proddescr2).
I did want to get them both this super cute mighty fine disney princess tee, but its sold out in their sizes.

I kinda lurked this thread - glad I did, and I sit here doing some late night work in my barefoot dreams sweater - LOVE it!!

Did anyone get the BP Faren Booite, and if so how much did you size up? I'm usually an 8.5 (I always say 8.5 or 9 but I can't remember the last time I bought size 9 shoes) and am trying to decide between ordering a 9 or 9.5 if they restock...
blogger / eggplant / 11551 posts
@MrsLonghorn: I did get the BP Faren booties, and sized up to a 9.5 (from my normal 9), and they fit but were still slightly snug, so I think sizing a whole size up is better. I have a wider foot though. If you have normal or narrow feet I think sizing a half size up will work.
I also got the Toms Deia booties to compare since the two look very similar - http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/toms-deia-block-heel-bootie-women/4613994?origin=keywordsearch-personalizedsort&fashioncolor=DESERT%20TAUPE%20SUEDE
I needed to size a half size down in the Toms, but overall found them more comfortable than the BP ones, so kept the Toms and returned the BPs. I also prefer the shorter heel.

Ordered the Nuna Pipa/Mixx2 travel system and am expecting it to be delivered today!
clementine / 806 posts
@Mrs. High Heels: thanks! I was able to snag a 9.5 when they restocked, but I have very narrow feet, so I'll keep hunting for a 9.
I was eyeing the TOMS ones, but my sister vetoed them because of the fabric back. If the BP doesn't fit well, I'm going to override her decision
