My CBAdv digital was high again this afternoon. Maybe I just need to do PM checks not FMU. Wondfo still woefully pale.

@yellowbeach: I had a cycle like that with my son. I think it was the wondfos that positive and cb were negative, But either way, they were in disagreement

@yellowbeach: @Lazb: My cycle THIS cycle was like that. All negative CBEAB but my Smilereader had a nice progression and even rated a "10" (peak) on the early eve on CD9.

CD3 - Cramps, bloating, and chin acne.
Right on-track with my "regular" cycles. BD 5x this cycle. DH is thrilled with this "NO stress" mindset and less stringency for TTC. Hoping it yield results. π€

@Kaohinani: glad dh is happy
I havenβt had any spotting since that one tiny amount 1/2 dpo. Otherwise no symptoms except maybe more emotional and definitely more vivid dreams. Iβm attributing both (at least mostly) to my back pain and muscle relaxers though. Iβm going to be so tempted to test on Wednesday (Halloween), but am determined to wait until at least Thursday (9/10 dpo) and hopefully Friday.

I've only got 4 days left in TTC purgatory before I start a new cycle. Finally no more ovary pain at the very least!
The grandparents in law's visit has gone well, the only downside is I haven't been able to sit around in my pajama pants, t shirt, and no bra like I really like to on the weekends. Sam has had diarrhea all day βΉοΈ but it doesn't seem to effect his mood and energy at least. AND now for the crappy part. My dad called me today and told me that I'll likely never get J because the crowd up there aren't willingly to let go of the money they get for having her. I know it's true, I should have expected it, and it was always in the back of my mind that I wouldn't ever get her, but it pisses me off; I am so fucking mad.
nectarine / 2648 posts
@Sams Mom: Oh gosh what terrible news about J. Unfortunately I guess thatβs a common thing where people colle dependents for the income. Drives me nuts. I think it you can prove they are diverting her funds and spending on themselves not her, you could win your fight. Not sure how much energy you have left at this point.

I am tracking this cycle but it will be unmedicated and with basically only taking prenatals.

@Sams Mom: I'm so sorry to read about J. Isn't there any way to build a case to prove that being in your care would be in her best interest and that her presence with her current "caretaker" is only for financial gain? I'm sure there is documentation and/or photographic evidence to support your claim ... that and substantial evidence of claim (your father and other family members hold that opinion based on what they have seen and heard.). There has got to be some way ...

@yellowbeach: @Kaohinani: They're 600 miles from me, so I can't exert the funds and time without damaging my family unfortunately. And believe me, I feel like utter garbage saying that, but my husband and son don't need strung through the cesspool that is trying to reason with the people in that part of my family (even though I love my aunt, I just can't deal with this) from states away, I know the smart thing to do is just accept it, but the emotional side makes me want to drive all that way and plead my case. fuck this

Doctors appointment went well. He did a beta and I have to go back Wednesday to do another. I'm guessing to make sure everything is going down. He also wants to do ultrasound next Monday. Idk maybe make sure everything is good and I have no issues. He did say "we can see if your levels are going up or down"
I think my levels with be in the not pregnant zone to be honest cause of my heavy bleeding and negative tests. I'm not exspecting much.

My doc finally emailed me back:
It is my presumption that it was a follicle that started to recruit early (which can happen, especially as we're recovering from a miscarriage), and then it did ovulate (hence the progesterone bump). It probably wasn't a super-ideal cycle, because I think that peri-ovulatory spotting suggests that your estrogen levels dropped and I think that makes conception somewhat less likely, but not impossible. If you wanted to supplement the progesterone, you could, but if you want a break, I think also reasonable!
On ultrasound, a big follicle vs newish cyst will look pretty similar.
nectarine / 2648 posts
@cyoung: When will you get the results of today's beta? All this waiting, ugh. I'm glad your doctor is being so attentive and giving so much close follow-up though.
apricot / 469 posts
@yellowbeach: I have no clue. They just said come in Wednesday. Idk if they will call cause its probably gonna be negative but we will see. Maybe they will call.
My doctor said he didn't want to say I miscarried yet but I already know I have. I told my husband it's kinda hard getting my blood drawn and doing ultrasounds when I know nothing is there.
apricot / 469 posts
@LAZB: is that what the email said? If so ans I understood it correctly that's great you may have ovulated.
Do women tend to ovulate early after q miscarriage or at their norm?
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@LAZB: I can't tell if your OBGYN is very "to the point/matter of fact" or is a "downer" who only wants you to believe you can/will get pregnant with medical assistance. π€ Every correspondence you share of hers states that your chances are very low. Yes, SIMPLE cysts and early follicles look similar on ultrasound but larger, more complex cysts are dissimilar to follicles and can be differentiated by a tech (my aunt is one), never mind an OBGYN. She had made yours out to sound more complex and you'd be lucky if you even ovulated this month. Anyway, you did ovulate (and early for you) which has been shown to yield fairly decent chances of fertilization and implantation (according to a plethora of medical studies across the board) lending to successful pregnancy. I'm not certain of her agenda to keep you wary or pessimistic over this cycle. π€·ββοΈ (Don't get me wrong, some of my favorite Drs are "straight shooters." I'm just stating how her correspondences that you have shared with us have read like to me. )
I'm keeping my fingers crossed π€for you. If you wish to supplement, it is up to you (I don't remember if you have a progesterone deficiency or short luteal phase). Good luck!
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@cyoung: Even after an early CP, most women have some residual levels of HCG in their system. The OBGYN should be able to pick up on your HGC through your serum levels and compare your Monday and Wednesday levels. If it decreases, it was a CP or molar. It it remains the same, a molar or a hormone-producing cyst or tumor. If it increases, your pregnancy is still viable (depending on it's doubling factor).
I'm hoping you get a response soon.
P.S. Each woman and each miscarriage and CP is different. Some OV on time, some early, and some late. With my last one, I had a heavy bleed, a week of spotting, then OV-ed on schedule... but my BBT was wonky and my next AF was very scant.
pomegranate / 3904 posts
@cyoung: yep, that was the email
@Kaohinani: Iβm with you, I feel like itβs really aggravating that she is so negative lately. She used to be much more positive, and still is when in person. She didnβt do the scan (it was an ultrasound tech as she was out of town) but they told me it was an estrogen feeding functional cyst at the time.
This makes me want this cycle to work even more than ever because I want to prove her wrong lol.
pomegranate / 3904 posts
@cyoung: to answer your other question, I ovulated normally (with clomid assistance) after my chemical pregnancy and early the cycle after my miscarriage. This is my second cycle post miscarriage, so a little surprised it would be so early, especially since itβs an unmedicated cycle
pomegranate / 3904 posts
Here is a screenshot from ff, it looks like my chances are pretty decent if you ask me
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@LAZB: Fingers crossed π€π€π€π€. I'm hoping you get your BFP to (1) get your BFP, and (2) prove her incorrect.
Sharing my (current) chart because ... well, it is a POAS board and it's too late to pee on OPKs and too early to pee on HPTs!!! π€£π€£
I'm only 4 dpo so it is too early for anything but, with it so early, it makes the odds look good for me at this point.
pomegranate / 3904 posts
@Kaohinani: ummm, those odds are amazing! I figured since average is 20% (or so I keep hearing), 26% was good, but 43% is crazy good!
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@LAZB: But, statistically, the earlier you are in your cycle, the better your chances because implantation has yet to occur (so one would be more likely to be at higher odds or closer to 50-50 odds) than an individual nearer to her test date. Also, FF isn't taking into consideration my age, 37 cycles trying, or the fact that I have unexplained secondary infertility... it is only comparing me to posted (visually) similar cycles of women who have shared their data. My odds are the same as they are any other month for me. π€π€£ #stayinghopeful

@Kaohinani: getting there but not quite. Should I push DH to BD tonight? Heβs not much of a morning person but my flight οΈ isnβt until 11:30 am.
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@yellowbeach: I would DTD tonight and try to entice in the morning if you can (heck, bribe him with something else if it works. )! Catch the early end of the surge!!! I'm ALL about BD-ing for TTC (even more than POAS). BUT, even MORE than that, I LOVE that you guys are getting back into the swing of things. (* TMI side note share - DH and I went nearly 11 mos without when I had PPD after my son ... Getting "it" back was AH-MAZING! )
pomegranate / 3904 posts
@yellowbeach: Iβd definitely try for tonight and tomorrow morning if possible, these are the best days!
nectarine / 2648 posts
@Kaohinani: Iβve already noticed a change in his mood and interactions with me. Heβs much less short and much more willing to help out with small things with DD and around the house. Iβm digging the way this is headed.
ETA: Ack! DH is having GI distress π€’ and needless to say not exactly looking to BD.
ETA: He went to bed with a bottle of tums in hand. How can I seduce him in the morning at like 5:30am???
pomegranate / 3904 posts
Woo hoo! When I took away temps (since Iβm not temping) and added bd timing, my odds are way better!

@yellowbeach: ugh, thatβs happened more than one month to us, the timing is so bad!

Omg you guys - look at this costume DH built for DD. Heβs taking her out ToTing π¦ on Wednesday since Iβll be in Nashville.

@Sams Mom: I'm so sorry! I hope by some miracle and for the child's sake you still get her...
@yellowbeach: That costume is awesome! We don't celebrate Halloween, but it's great to see all the fun costumes here on HB.
I'm 6dpo today and my chart is a bit of a mess. Luckily the daylight saving time shift was after OV had already been confirmed.
nectarine / 2648 posts
@paranundrum: I didnβt even think about how DD might affect BBT measurement...
So no luck with seducing DH before he left for work this morning or last night. He was just too sick last night and then this morning was a whirlwind getting everyone ready for work and daycare and it just wasnβt going to happen. And of course, blazing OPK and peak on CBADR. π€·ββοΈ At least I know OPKs work for me. Iβd always gotten positives months prior after taking a trigger shot. This was a good test. Now letβs see what my temps do.
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@yellowbeach: UGH! I get so upset when DH has gastro issues on an important BD-ing interlude and has to pass. I'm sure it's the same how he feels when I've committed to a night (post-OV) and my Fibro is still acting up along with a headache. I refuse to just "lay there" like a corpse π§ββοΈso I give him a rain check on it. Hopefully, your DH is feeling better this morning and you can get a quickie in.
Speaking of your DH, he did a phenomenal job on DD's costume!!! So creative! Also, your DD is absolutely precious !
Edit - and now I see your new post: sorry you couldn't get DH to DTD. On a more positive note, your OPK looks awesome!
grapefruit / 4144 posts
@paranundrum: Don't worry so much about the temps at 6 dpo. It looks like you had a corpus luteum dip at 5 dpo and you are on your way back up.
grapefruit / 4144 posts
5 dpo - Not much to write home about.
Here are my oral temps (left side, purple chart) vs. Tempdrop temps (right side, FF chart).
In other news, my in laws are still here.
